Tris Barlee
How did you come to Tribe?
I’d heard of Tribe years ago, but never made it out here, despite previously being self-employed. In Autumn, I finally decided to give it a go, and went straight into membership.
What makes you smile?
Autistic culture, breaking rules, and letting loose.
What do you like most about Tribe?
Being neurodivergent, I struggle to work productively at home without a ‘body double’, and get easily distracted by chaos in my space. Tribe provides a really comfortable neutral space surrounded by others working, which really helps me focus and make use of my time.
What are you working on right now?
I ran my first alternative community retreat in August, and it was such a wonderful experience that I have already begun planning for a longer retreat over Easter. I’m also facilitating regular discussion circles across Glasgow and Edinburgh.
