How did you come to Tribe?

After relocating to Edinburgh, I found myself working remotely from my kitchen table and missing the buzz of the studio. One Google search and a quick tour later, I was completely sold. Portobello is a fantastic location; I love having a quick lunch time walk along the promenade.

What makes you smile?

Finishing a long run, putting on a good record, playing with our two cats, or discovering a new favourite pub, Edinburgh has plenty to choose from.

What do you like most about Tribe?

The people, and the dogs. There’s a genuinely warm, welcoming atmosphere every time I walk in, it makes it a great place to work.

What are you working on right now?

A wide range of projects, most with a heritage focus. I love the challenge of stitching contemporary architecture alongside buildings that have been there for hundreds of years. The variety is one of the best parts of the job, one day I could be sketching out a design for a new scheme, the next I’m on-site climbing scaffolding to see those designs take shape. It’s a rewarding way to work.
