How did you come to Tribe?

I’m a freelancer who has been 100% working at home since the pandemic, so when I moved into the area my partner suggested I check out co-working at Tribe. I hope she thought that I should occasionally be around other humans and not that I was getting on her nerves. So I checked it out and it all seemed pretty cool with a community feel and lots going on.

What makes you smile?

Other cartoonists mainly. Followed by a “Why didn’t I think of that?” sigh.

What do you like about Tribe most?

I’ll try not to mention the obvious (dogs and heating) and just say that it’s a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Also it’s not just like other co-working places. If it was just a soulless office full of strangers, then there’s no way I’d choose to be here.

What are you working on right now?

On the web design side a few projects for a group of fashion retail brands. On the Cartooning side of things just the usual trying to come up with silly ideas and current affairs gags before the next press deadline. Also summer is approaching which means a few cartooning festivals or exhibitions to attend and take part in.
