Danielle Trudeau

Founding Director

Dani believes that work should enrich our lives, not drain our time or joy. She started her first enterprise at 14 and UK business at age 25, with a background in behavioural science, education, and social care. Dani is still curious about what makes good work, and work that does good.

In 2015, she founded Tribe Porty to create a space for creative community and meaningful work. She went on to launch Keystone in 2018 to support enterprising women to reimagine how they live and work. That work now continues through Tribe School, a growing part of Tribe Porty focused on learning, connection, and community.

You can hear more about Dani from her Creative Mornings Edinburgh talk, or read her latest reflections on work, creativity, and inner life over on Substack.

Alice Hudson

Community Manager

Alice is our Community Manager at Tribe. A creative, a dog lover and bringer of smiles. You’ll often find Alice chatting about coffee in the kitchen, slicing up a home-bake for our coworkers or doing a silly dance. Alice first came to Tribe after purchasing her bike from Walter in Velow. She quietly kept an eye out for a way in and jumped at the opportunity to become our Community Manager. Alice finds joy in creating and nurturing our community and making sure our coworkers have everything that they need. She’s also pure joy in bright colours, often spotted wearing her gran’s crocheted, multicolour jumper.

Sonny Ruggiero

Community Support Assistant

It doesn’t take much to make Sonny smile—whether it’s a warm cup of coffee, the sunlight hitting the trees just right, a cuddle with a dog, or spotting someone reading my favourite book. Smiling is just part of who Sonny is.

What Sonny loves most about Tribe so far is the warmth and life that fills the space. Sonny is a firm believer that buildings have souls, and says you can really feel the soul of Tribe the moment you walk in.

Beverley Hart

Operations Assistant

Beverley first came across Tribe Porty when she became a part-time home worker – about eight years ago.  Beverley spotted Tribe Porty and loved the creative space and community feel.  She always felt Tribe ‘was my kind of place’.

Fast forward to April this year, and after over 30 years working flat out running fast-paced brand and communications teams and a stint as Operations Manager helping establish a new Trust, she had the chance to step back and think about what was next for me and now finds herself part of the Tribe Porty Team.

Steven Imlah

He loves a hello and will even make you a cup of tea if you so desire!
