How did you come to Tribe?
I first visited Tribe in April of 2019, when I was still residing in the states and visited Edinburgh to evaluate it as a place to eventually move and settle in. The location near Portobello beach was the initial appeal, however it was the warm and friendly community I found that hooked me.

What makes you smile?
When ducks dip their heads into the water and their tail ends stick straight up in the air.

What do you like about Tribe most?
I’ve already mentioned the community (as do most people that answer this question) so that seems to be a given. Otherwise, I’m particularly partial to doodling on the chalkboard in the restroom.

What are you working on right now?
I’m currently working as a software engineer at a non-profit based in London that is working to defund misinformation online. I also do freelance projects in the code/design space – I really like working with small businesses and non-profits. There has also been a lot of art: life drawing and urban sketching.
