How did you come to Tribe?

I first visited the Tribe in September 2021 and immediately knew that it’s a perfect place for me. After 18 months of working from home I was excited to work among people again. Besides, the proximity to the sea makes it very easy to go for a swim before or after work (or both!).

What makes you smile?

Going for a 50k run! The more the merrier!

What do you like about Tribe most?

I love that I can meet people working in so many different areas or industries. As a software engineer you can get a bit stuck in the world of coding or discussions with people in your profession. However, having contact with people coming from different backgrounds can feel very refreshing.

What are you working on right now?

I work as a software and research engineer at GreenTriangle. At GT, we’re trying to help farmers and insurance companies quantify the risk and consequences of crop damages (hail, storm, flood, etc) by interpreting all sorts of satellite and meteorological data. I’m currently working on models to predict crop yield which could be reliably used all around the world!
