How did you come to Tribe?

I first found Tribe as a venue for a toddler art group that I started with other creative souls in 2016

What is your ‘job title”?

Here at Tribe, I am The Bookkeeper, but I am also bookkeeper and “getter of stuff done” for a number of other lovely creative and socially minded clients. I am also an Origami & Textile Creative with some of my work currently adorning the reception and Whitehall at Tribe

What makes you smile?

Those moments when you are outside, stop and notice the small things. Dancing. Fixing & mending.

What do you like about Tribe most?

The people, they are not only interesting but generally interested too. The Hive mind provides solutions, podcasts, books, restaurants, walks, hugs and motivation. Oh… and sunny social lunches.

What are you working on right now?

This year I am adding to my accountancy skills with an Open University course. Just getting back into a University system is a learning curve, but it is exciting to think that I can grow a degree from the interests I have over the next however many years. I am also planning for an artist residency with my artist mother. It came from a conversation during a tour of the Art Houses at this years Porty Art Walk. My mother is missing the space and freedom to just draw, sketch and make whilst I am seeking the space and accountability to develop the origami landlines I started during the #100dayprojectscotland.
