How did you come to Tribe?

I was one of the first to arrive, before windows and heaters! I was a refugee from the Baileyfield development that demolished the artist studios there.

What makes you smile?

Today’s selection from a hopefully never diminishing list ….freewheeling down the hill from Seafield to Portobello Prom,  people smiling at dogs, simultaneous complementary colour contrast, frazey ford and harmonising.

What do you like about Tribe most?

I like the diversity and energy of folk moving through and the closeness to home.

What are you working on right now?

I’m currently working on the production phase of the Courtyards Commission,  a piece of public sculpture for the new East Lothian Community Hospital. I’m also finishing a period of Creative Scotland funded research and development into visual description and developing new work in experimental dance with Glasgow artist Louise AHL for Glasgow Tramway in October 2019.
