How did you come to Tribe?

I arrived at Tribe through the Portobello network! From working on the Skylark brand to working for Bob at Sodak and then being introduced to Dani. I can track most of my work through the Tribe network.

What makes you smile?
New socks. Finding a double yolk. Laundered sheets and fresh towels. Making introductions. Liking and disliking things…rounding that one up…opinions. People and conversation. The beach. My house and garden. The people in my household. Design…especially the little details.

What do you like about Tribe most?
People, it’s all about the people. I like to work alongside others working. Tribe provides me with a trusted network of opinions to canvas and a constant network of recommendations. Be it fonts, paper samples, a new book, a tune, a podcast or the latest crap to watch on tv. … and when it all gets too much and I’m too busy to move, I love being offered a cup of tea.

What are you working on right now?
Right now, answering these questions without sounding like a sanctimonious idiot. Otherwise…such a lovely variety of projects. Restaurant signage, a new interior and wayfinding system for a large building project, a magazine, a financial report for an outdoor adventure company, a new literary journal, various interpretation projects and brands. I absolutely love the diversity of the work I’m lucky enough to be a part of.
