And we want to give families great resources to have fun, connect and develop, both as individuals and together.
Starting from pregnancy, both Kathryn of the Daisy Foundation Edinburgh and Gem of Positive Birth Scotland organise birth preparation classes and workshops to support mums and dads to be, and also after birth.
Daisy Birthing is a wonderful combination of gentle movements, active birth and antenatal education, breathing techniques and relaxation, and once baby has arrived Kathryn also offers Daisy Baby Tinies.
If you’re looking for a post pregnancy exercise class, Sabrina from Physical Health Personal Training runs prenatal pilates for mums and babies to do together.
Sabrina runs postnatal pilates classes, and also mother and baby classes which can be handy if you want something that doesn’t involve finding childcare.
Sarah of Birth and Beyond offers new mothers space to talk at our Mother Kind sessions, where mothers can bring their babies and talk about their experiences of motherhood, warts and all. Groups are run on demand and you can book by contacting Sarah here: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Linzi from Yogabellies brings a post natal Mum and Baby yoga class to TribePorty, run on Tuesday mornings, 10.30-11.30am.
If you’re interested in Baby Massage, Kathryn also offers Daisy Foundation massage classes for new parents and their babies. Research shows that this is a wonderful way to bond with your child.
