This healing Qigong class will be taught by Helen. Helen began training as an instructor with Bob Lowey in 2015. She is a certified trainer from the 7 Stars School of Taijiquan.
This class is open to everyone and is suitable for beginners. We first learn gentle and easy physical movements coordinated with breathing techniques. You will learn a few basic forms to begin with.
We do not assume that you will know anything about Qigong. To begin with we will teach you two simple qigong forms: ‘Zhang Zhong’ and ‘5 Elements’.
Qigong teaches us how to tune in to our own natural self – healing potential. It helps us to get well, keep well and live longer with no negative side effects. It is a powerful tool for life and personal transformation. The class will finish with a short Qigong meditation. Meditation and Qi Gong complement each other beautifully. By combining the two practices, this class offers us the chance to deepen our connection with ourselves, balance your emotions, resolve issues relating to your digestion, immune system, muscles bones and your joints.
