Why Children’s Yoga?
There is a huge difference between yoga classes for adults and yoga classes for children.
Children’s yoga is YOGA PLAY.
It encourages children to feel positive about themselves, while also being fun for them!

Children’s yoga promotes cooperation, self-awareness and self-care, compassion, and health.
It is a form of gentle, non-competitive exercise that improves agility, concentration, mobility, strength, and energy level. It reduces risk of injury, anger, and anxiety while boosting the immune system as well as your child’s confidence.

Classes are split by age group: 3-6 years and 7-11 years. Classes for 3-6 years last 30 minutes. Classes for 7-11 years normally last 45 minutes. The class structure is based on stories, activities, and games that guide children through different poses. It is interactive and engaging! We begin with a warmup and finish with calming poses. Breathing exercises are practiced throughout the class alongside the main story. We are not aiming for perfect postures, but rather for kids to do what they are comfortable with. Children of any ability are welcome.

Children should dress comfortably. Yoga mats are provided.

Classes are as follow:


3-6 years old 4:15 – 4:45
7-11 years old 5:00 – 5:45

6 week block will cost
3-6 years old/ 30 min/£24.00(£4 per class) or £5 drop-in
7-11 years old /45 min /£30 (£5 per class) or £6 drop-in
